Disclaimer
The tools on this site are built carefully and show their working so you can check them. They are still tools, not advice, and this page sets out where their limits are.
General
iToolHub is provided for general information and everyday use. Results are given as they are, with no guarantee that they are complete, correct or suitable for a particular purpose. Check any result you are going to act on. Every tool shows the steps it followed so that you can.
Money, tax and business calculators
The loan, PayPal fee, Stripe fee, sales tax, margin, discount and CPM calculators do arithmetic on the figures you enter.
- They are not financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing on this site recommends a product, a loan or a price.
- A loan result assumes a fixed rate and equal monthly payments. A lender's quote can include fees, a variable rate or other terms the calculator does not model. Compare the APR and the total repayable in the lender's own documents.
- Payment fees are quoted from each provider's published pricing on the date shown beside them. Providers change fees, and your own account may be priced differently.
- The sales tax calculator publishes no rates. Rates change and depend on location, so confirm the rate with the tax authority for that place.
For a decision that matters, speak to a qualified adviser or to the lender, provider or authority that sets the figure.
Units and measurements
Unit factors defined by a standards body are exact on this site. Converted values are shown to a limited number of digits, and rounding can matter.
Do not use this site as the only check for medicine doses, engineering loads, aviation, diving, electrical installation or any other work where a wrong unit could hurt someone. Use the reference your profession or the equipment maker specifies.
Encodings, data formats and files
- Text encoders and decoders follow the published standard named on each page. Software you pass the result to may read it differently.
- Data format converters can change how a value is represented, such as a number in a CSV becoming text. Check converted data before you import it anywhere that matters.
- Image converters use your browser's own encoder. Lossy formats lose detail, and converting back does not restore it. Keep your original file.
Password generator
Passwords are generated in your browser from its cryptographic random source and are never sent anywhere. Whether a password is safe also depends on where you store it and whether you reuse it, which this site cannot see. Use a password manager.
YouTube thumbnail downloader
Thumbnails belong to the people who made them. The tool shows images YouTube already makes public. It grants no right to reuse them, and nothing on the page is legal advice.
External links and advertising
Pages link to standards bodies, providers and other sites that this site does not control. No advertising runs yet; when it does, adverts will be chosen by the ad network. Neither a link nor an advert is a recommendation.
If a result is wrong
Email suraj@theblogtimer.com with the page address and what you entered. How corrections are handled is set out separately. The terms of use set out the legal limits of liability.
