Terms of use
Short version: the tools are free, the results are yours, nothing is guaranteed, and you should check anything that matters before you rely on it.
1. Agreement
By using itoolhub.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site. The site is operated by Suraj Giri, referred to below as the operator.
In plain terms: using the site means accepting these rules.
2. What the site is
iToolHub is a collection of free conversion tools that run in your web browser. There is no account to create, nothing to buy, no subscription, and no feature held back behind a payment. Because of that, several things a terms page usually covers have no subject here: there are no billing terms, no refund policy, no cancellation process and no service level agreement, because there is no service to bill for, refund or promise.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the tools for anything lawful, personal or commercial, with no attribution required. You may not:
- use the site to break the law, or to process material you have no right to process;
- attack the site or the systems serving it, or attempt to gain access to anything not published;
- copy the site's pages wholesale to republish them as your own;
- automate requests at a rate that degrades the site for other people. Reading pages with a crawler that respects robots.txt is fine.
The operator may block access from an address that does any of these. There is no account to close, so blocking is the only enforcement available and it is not a punishment for anything else.
4. What you put into a tool stays yours
The values, text and files you convert are yours. The operator does not receive them, cannot see them, claims no rights over them and grants itself no licence to them, because every conversion happens inside your browser. The notice on what is and is not collected explains that in detail.
The results are yours too. Use them for anything. No credit is required.
5. The site's own content
The pages, the explanations, the code behind the tools and the name iToolHub belong to the operator. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome. Copying pages, or reproducing the site's structure and text as a competing site, is not.
Reference material that is not the operator's to own is not claimed: the ASCII code assignments, the SI unit definitions and the file-format specifications the tools implement are published standards, named and linked on the how the conversions are produced.
6. Accuracy, and the limits of it
Considerable effort goes into the results being right. The methodology page sets out how: exact arithmetic rather than floating point, a generated fact base rather than values typed into pages, and six checks that run over the whole site before it can ship.
None of that is a warranty. The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee that a result is correct, that a page is available, or that a tool is fit for a particular purpose. Software has bugs, browsers differ, and a standard can be implemented incorrectly.
Check any result you are going to act on. Every converter shows its working precisely so that you can. Do not use this site as the only source for anything where being wrong carries a cost — engineering, medical, financial, legal or safety work included. Nothing here is professional advice of any kind.

7. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on a result it produced, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption or any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
The site is supplied free of charge, and the total liability of the operator for any claim is limited accordingly.
8. Advertising and links to other sites
This site is intended to carry advertising served by Google AdSense; none was being served when this page was last built. An advert is chosen by Google, not by the operator, and its appearance here is not a recommendation. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and the advertiser.
Pages link out to published standards and to other websites. Those sites are not under the operator's control and their content is their own responsibility.
9. Availability and changes
The site may be unavailable at any time, with or without notice, for maintenance or for any other reason. Tools may be changed, renamed or withdrawn. No uptime is promised and none should be assumed.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Washington, United States, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date at the foot of this page is the date the text last changed, taken from the file the page is built from. Using the site after a change means the current version applies. There is no account to notify, so the page itself is the notice.
