How do you convert GB to TB?

Why Does a 1 TB Drive Show About 931 GB?
A drive sold as 1 TB holds 1 000 000 000 000 bytes, which is 931.3225746 GiB, so a system that counts in steps of 1024 and labels the result GB shows it as about 931 GB.
No storage is missing: the bytes are the same and only the unit they are counted in has changed. This converter changes the unit and nothing else, so it says nothing about the space a formatted drive gives up to its file system.
